arizonabarkscorpion.org is an independent, non-commercial reference about one animal, the Arizona bark scorpion, written by a Phoenix-area homeowner who has spent several seasons observing and logging them nightly, and checked against the peer-reviewed and university literature. It sells nothing.
Why this site exists
When you search for information about the Arizona bark scorpion, you find disjointed information, some helpful, some not. The information people could benefit from is not found easily. This site puts the evidence in one place, in plain language, with every claim linked so you can check it.
Who runs it
The site is run by a homeowner and native of the Phoenix area; he is the author and publisher. His background, method, and field data are on the author page. He is not an entomologist or a physician and does not claim to be; the sting and antivenom pages will be marked "medically reviewed" only after a named clinician has reviewed them, and until then they carry a "review pending" badge and cite clinical sources directly. Why? Because facts matter.
